I'm not feeling the rotation on the comics. Wish there was a permanent cloud storage option. Maybe in time. I would say that because of the comic option I'm much more interested though since I mostly buy DC Comics anyway.

Wasn't into the idea of this when it seemed like a platform for new shows but the animated movies and comic inclusion definitely sold me. I'd pay 10 bucks a month for that. I don't have space for anymore longboxes anyway.
 
Teen Titans Go is off the chain! That Light Begins to Shine shit was dope! Cee-Lo cameo was much appreciated.

Side note, the Bell Biv Devoe shout out in the prior episode was not expected. One of the writers must be a black 80's baby.
 
Dwayne The Rock Johnson Teases When Black Adam Will Start Filming

DC fans have long awaited more information on DC's Black Adam, but the Rock just revealed when the project will start filming.

Dwayne The Rock Johnson spoke to filmstarts about his upcoming Jumanji sequel, specifically when that will start filming. During that convo he mentioned a few other projects he's working on, and revealed that Black Adam is eyeing a film start later this year.


As for why Rock took the role, he's just always been a fan. "I've loved the role of Black Adam," Johnson said. "I love that he starts off as a slave, that he felt like he was wronged. I've just loved that backstory. I think that Black Adam has always been, to me, the most intriguing superhero."“With Black Adam, I don’t think we’re going to start early next year," Johnson said. "Early next year right now it looks like I’m going to be shooting Jumanji, and then after that, if everything goes well I’ll shoot a movie called Red Notice with Rawson Thurber again, with Gal Gadot, and another actor yet to be named. But Black Adam possibly at the end of next year. It’s coming along great, the script is coming along great we’re very happy with it.”

It seems the long-awaited Black Adam debut might be coming sooner than we expected, as if it shoots by end of the year we actually might see it released either in 2019 or 2020. Now, those are just goal dates at this point, so nothing officially has been scheduled or set in stone, but it does seem like it could actually happen, and that's good news.


The Rock has been attached to Black Adam for some time now, and originally it was expected he would face off against Shazam! in the Shazam! movie. It was later revealed that Shazam!, which now has Zackary Levi attached as the lead hero, would not feature Black Adam, and that Rock's project would be split off and given its own film. If all goes well with both films, we imagine a Shazam! Black Adam fight in the sequel would be a no-brainer.

I just read something about Joaquin Phoenix being the new Joker for an origin movie? Dude is a dope actor I think he might actually turn out to be great in that role.. but wtf is going on? Is Jared Leto no longer the Joker? I thought he was going the reprise his role as the Joker again in the Suicide Squad sequel. Will Ben Atflec still be batman?

No hate but wtf is DC doing? Shit seems all over the place

The film Phoenix is rumored to be involved in is going to be a standalone film not connected to the dceu. DC is rumored to announce a new film banner that will basically label films as separate stories. Think of it like the elseworlds stories from the comics if you are familiar. They are not part of the main canon, just a story involving whatever character. So far the joker origin film is the only film being produced under the new dc banner, but rumors are saying that Matt Reeves batman film might go under that banner and feature a young batman that would not be Ben Affleck. Furthering the rumors that Ben wants out. Leto is still joker and rumored to have his own film in production. All rumors tho.

Comic con is in a week or two and we should hopefully have some solid announcements as there have been a ton of management and staff changes over at wb and dc.

It just started production a few weeks ago. Probably wont debut until next year some time.

Unfortunately it will be a prequel series that is "different" from the source material. Whatever that means. I got hope for it though.

Yeah i got hope for it for sure. I didnt really like the costume too much, but im sure they will touch it up a bit in post production. It looks like a foam suit lol.

I think they’re probably going for a more comedic approach so that might be on purpose.
 
This a totally unsubstantiated rumor and should be taken with several grains of salt but I'm gonna post it anyway
