Even Sane couldnt have saved die mannschaft's shite defense and lousy tactical formation.

Kroos said in the post match interview that they didnt consider and approach the match as a final, basically implying that they didnt take korea seriously...guess they underestimated them and thought they were already there after beating Sweden.

Its a gottdamn shame though, would have loved to see Brazil v. Germany...

Sweden making it this far is incredible, we bested them in the qualifying stages but took Ls to Bulgaria and shit...didnt qualify on goal difference...they went to war with Italy and went thru...and now they mopped the floor with Mexico and finished top of their group lmao. Theyre the eternal underdog, no one expects shit from Sweden and now theyre actually started playing top football?

Damn vikings shield walding their way through this shit lol...guess Zlatan really did held them back.
 
Germany's demise is still down to the manager though, he should of made sure that the teams mindset was right, taking South Korea as a gimme is a joke, no game in the World Cup is gimme just look at all the crazy results weve had so far... So that AND not picking Sane means the manger should get a some serious criticism...
 
There is obviously a problem to keep a team motivated after winning the world cup. The Spain team was prime example to sack the manager would be insane!

I got Poland getting that win today vs Japan! Just need Colombia and Senegal to pull off a good draw so they can both advance.

For sure they had major defensive problems but tactically, leaving out Sane was actually part of the problem. If they had Sane in the squad, Low wouldn't have needed to try to force Timo Werner to play on the wing (where he did a good job in the 2nd half vs Sweden). Sane would have been able to handle his business on either wing for the Mannschaft. Low prefered his boy Julian Brandt. Brandt is good but he's not Sane.

The team had the same mentality as past world cup winners in which the same manager stayed on. Tough to get them to stay focused and hungry.

One of the advantages of working the night shift. I come back from work, watch the 1st games, take a quick nap and wake up just in time for the 2nd set of games.

Only game that put me to sleep was the France vs. Denmark game.
