It's not "I fucked up". Life ain't what it used to be, peolle don't stay in one career for their entire career. It's not uncommon for people to have 4-5 careers that they do. Right now I'm mastering the field I'm in, and prolly take on a different, larger role in ten yrs. Almost all the managers I've met have had a least 3 paths they've worked in. You take that knowledge and experience and use it your advantage. What skills and talents have you picked up over the years you can apply/adapt in a new career. It's not a fuck up, it's learning and growing.
