I don’t even listen to music from artists that came out in the past 5-7 years
The unfortunate thing is that’s all who you hear/see about on social media now so it’s a lot of stuff getting ignored
Yeah i know but my counter is branching out and listening to different genresHmm sounds like the beginning stages of Washed. The first sign is avoiding music. In the 3 years you will have not listen to new artist music for a whole 10 years.... you getting stuck in your music decade be careful now
20yrs. And I'm here nowYou ain't lived here in over 30 years

An oracleWhat she look like?
what if it's not low key,An oracle
I've been saying that for a while.
The issue is we don't have visionary filmmakers or storytellers in general.
Anybody with an ounce of talent sellout for the Disney, Warner Bros, legacy property bag.
These filmmakers don't even have their style.
I'ma take Ryan Coolger for an example. This man made one fucking Black trauma porn film that White liberals cried over and he's done nothing but remakes ever since.
He doesn't have his own style. He doesn't have his own voice. His own themes.
The only great American filmmaker that is in the pantheon and relevant and does major theater shit is Christopher Nolan.
All these other motherfuckers out here can't even get 100 million dollar budget and recoup unless it is a fucking remake or live adaptation.
Shit is gross. American art has greatly declined.
I still havent seen it. Dont have any intentions on watching it either
I remember when HBO Max came out I went looking for old shows that I was never able to finish or watch like SpawnMy guy don't listen to him
HBO has Spawn, Curb Your Enthusiasm, GOT and the Wire for crust sakes. Sopranos might not even be top 5 if I really look into HBO created content. In fact, Insecure...top 5 HBO shows
Now that I think about it.
The Wire is stupid and overrated. Looking back at it, it seems like some shit written in The Atlantic. Like the class and politics of the people that love love love the Wire is reprehensible and make me wanna vomit. The entire show of the Wire is loved by the type of Black people that read the Jacobin and think Killmonger was a villain.
The moral of The Wire is like, Black poor needs good schools and education. It's literally the ending of Black Panther.
I think Sopranos is good because it completely dissects and removes the notions of savage honor and nobility from the Mafia genre, that was established in the Godfather. The Godfather established the image of the modern mafioso, they really copied and fancied themselves off the Godfather.
The Godfather to the Mafia is what Menace 2 Society is to the Black street hoodlum. Like motherfuckers really thought they were ODog.
Tony Soprano and all his Mafia friends are pathetic human beings. Complete dumbasses. There's nothing admiral about them. Nobody fucking likes them. They get zero respect.
The Sopranos was more realistic and more critical than the Wire.
I like Mad Men more than both. But I think Sopranos is the better show.
People say Breaking Bad is a top TV show of all time, but that show was lowkey overrated and stupid just like The Wire. Breaking Bad will kill your brain cells if you really think about it.
Nacros is overrated due to it's subject matter.
If I wanted to show a non-American, the best of American Drama TV of the last 25 years, to like give them a taste of what America culture is about in 3 shows.
I would tell them to watch The Sopranos, Mad Men and Deadwood.
I like seeing reading early accounts of Europeans among Africans because most of the shit they said then basically contradicts all the racist shit that came afterwards. Mutha fuckas be like "[Insert African city here] is extremely well organized and the equal of any city back in England" and 50 years later were like "Africans never built anything."
The Wire and especially Insecure are not top 5 HBO shows and I've never seen an episode of curb your enthusiasm.
1 The Sopranos
2. Boardwalk Empire
3. Oz
4. Tales From The Crypt
5. Game Of Thrones
So you get on others who dont really get with new artist but when you say the same thing, it's different?I don’t even listen to music from artists that came out in the past 5-7 years
The unfortunate thing is that’s all who you hear/see about on social media now so it’s a lot of stuff getting ignored
