Too many people letting how other perceive them, be the reality they feel they have to deal with. Your reality is what you perceive and feel.

My daughter got put in time out in daycare. I asked her why and she said her and another girl got an an argument. The other girl is mulatto wit brownish curly hair.

Told my little girl her hair wasn't pretty cause it doesn't look soft and she said it hurt her feelings. I asked her, is your hair soft. She said yes her hair is soft. I asked her then why did the girl saying that it wasn't hurt her feelings. She told me she didn't know.

I said what if I told you that you have a duck bill for a nose. She said that silly, I have a pretty nose. I said how do you know, she said she can see it in the mirror. Then I told her, me telling you that you have duck bill nose and you knowing better than that.

Is the same way you should feel when someone says something about you that you know better than to believe it's true.
