If I just met her a couple of weeks before some family function and if the vibe between me and her is right, yeah, I would invite her.

Nothing is just given to anybody, u gotta earn it. Nobody starts a job and becomes a boss the next week. Something like introducing u to my mother is a privilege.

Oh I get it. I didn't really grow up with family so that's not something I hold as sacred or a privilege I guess.
