Whut? They gained 3 supreme court seats and whole bunch of conservative judges

None of this will be relevant by 2022. Republicans signed the death of the current SCOTUS when they confirmed Brett Kavanaugh. They knew that the response by Democrats would be to weaken any moves they made by expanding the court which negates the confirmations of Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. They chose a short term gain but they will lose the long term effectiveness within 2 years.

Don't sweat it about the conservative judges either. Dems will pack the courts and now that Dems are in control there will actually be real ethics and some of these judges will be "removed"

Plus they pretty much have an incoming Republican President in Biden. They will be fine.

I can't believe that this talking point, as wrong as it is still exist. You still have time to correct this or you can continue to be wrong.

They've never been ignoring it or any other state in the south.

Here's a message that everybody needs to understand.

None of those states in the south are actually Red states. They are only Red because of voter suppression. If not for voter suppression Georgia, Florida, Texas, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Louisiana would be Blue.

This is a fact.

Pay attention to how critical voter suppression has been to Republicans.

Remember those felons who got their voting rights restored but then Republicans still blocked them from voting? If not for voter suppression those voters would've been voting for years. That means Florida would've been Blue a long time ago. That means Andrew Gillum would've beat Ron DeSantis for Governor and Florida would be more liberal. That means Bill Nelson would've beat Rick Scott and Democrats would've been flipped The Senate.

So niggas have got to stop only remembering shit in the current moment.

Voter suppression has been the most effective tool in Republican victories. So when niggas complain about Democrats not doing anything you are playing right into the hands of republicans who while you're complaining about democrats are making it near impossible for you to beat them.
This is true. And I’d add gerrymandering to the suppression take as well.

The whole country is going further left and has been for a long time, it’s just Republicans and they’re dirty games keeping it right.

Yall gon be so disappointed in Biden.

Ideologically, Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer aint that different from Republicans.

Dems will raise taxes on rich people and businesses a bit which will be great. But I dont see any major social changes coming.

The only thing I can hope for is that one of the young supreme court justices get in a crazy car accident and are replaced but a liberal ass justice or two now that dems control the senate.

Stop being a scary ass nigga. You overthinking this shit man.

Im hoping Biden gives PR and DC statehood at the very least. Dems need to pressure him hard af for that

imo no way Alaska n Hawaii should be a state and not PR

They don't have to pressure him to do something he 's already been in favor of doing. When you have a narrow majority like The Dems have in a few hours and will have after January 20th you have to be strategic on how you attack certain issues.

Do you know what DC and PR statehood also add? 4 Senators. It wouldn't be wise for democrats to do DC and PR statehood without first ensuring that they have a path to win the majority of the 4 new Senate seats. They have 2 years before the midterms to do that.

The smart move would be to get DC and PR statehood before 2022 mid terms and win the majority because those seats won't be up for reelection until 2030. They will be 6 year terms. That means Democrats could potentially have a lock on 4 Senate seats for the next decade. That could be huge in a congress as split as we currently are and it could offer Dems some insurance in case they lose the general Election in 2024.

You have to be strategic on how and when you introduce these new sweeping changes so that republicans won't swoop in and reverse them much like Dems are about to do with what Republicans just did with The SCOTUS and the Circuit Courts.

Part of the problem is that PR hasn't always wanted to be a state. They waffle on it.

The other territories like Guam get shitted on even more than PR.

Puerto Rico has never waffled on being a state. A Republican led Congress has led many Americans to believe that but it's simply not true.

The majority of the talk that is against PR statehood has come from.....................surprise, White Americans.

The whole country is going further left and has been for a long time, it’s just Republicans and they’re dirty games keeping it right.

And when they succeed, Democrats or more specifically Black people always think that there's somebody else to blame other than..............Republicans.
