Ion get how that's a point of contentionPeople got mad at some of us for saying the same thing.
Me either, I always thought the point of voting was to support polticians that support you in return. But what we've seen the last 50 some years is the opposite. People treat these poltical parties like sports teams. "We gotta defeat Trump!" as if Biden is any better. I was real dissapointed in how the primaries went. The field was weak to begin with, but they chose a 78 year old senile racist serial assualter, literally. The man who pushed for the Drug War and for non-violent offenders to catch cases. The man who essentially wrote the Crime bill. The same man who hasn't set forth any agenda for us, even though we gave him the nomination.Ion get how that's a point of contention
I DONT WANT A BLACK WOMAN FOR BIDENA black woman is 'not a must' for Biden's running mate, Clyburn says
WASHINGTON — Joe Biden’s remarkable comeback from the depths of a fifth-place finish in the New Hampshire primary to all but locking up the Democratic nomination this month can be traced to his overwhelming support among black voters. And one critical endorsement — from South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn — helped reinforce that support at a tenuous moment in his candidacy.
As Biden now takes steps to begin formally vetting potential running mate, there are few voices more influential to the former vice president than Clyburn’s. And while there may be pressure from some in the party to not just choose a woman, but an African American woman, Clyburn is more circumspect.
“I think having a woman on the ticket is a must,” the No. 3 House Democrat said in an interview with NBC News. “I’m among those who feel that it would be great for him to select a woman of color. But that is not a must.”
“I think that he should be informed in this decision by the vetting and the polling. And I think he should be guided by his head and his heart,” Clyburn added.

Who didn't see this coming? Biden was done before SC, has his butt saved and like clockwork they already setting the path for a non-black VP. Still zero policies for our communites on top of it all.
I DONT WANT A BLACK WOMAN FOR BIDEN
"IAM THAT GIRL" FUCK THAT but people are so wrapped up in peoples political ambitions as their own
it should be elizaeth Warren and the icing on the cake is stans crying about kamala not being tapped
I'm really trying to get energy for a Biden/Warren ticket...but it ain't happening for me. I just don't see either giving a shit about us at all. Whole thing is depressing to be honest.I DONT WANT A BLACK WOMAN FOR BIDEN

So who do you think would give a shit about us?I'm really trying to get energy for a Biden/Warren ticket...but it ain't happening for me. I just don't see either giving a shit about us at all. Whole thing is depressing to be honest.
I think there are thousands of qualified people out there who give a fuck. But none of them get the financial or potlical backing to rise high within either party. So every election were picking from the same small group of fakes. We flatout gave Biden the nomination and guranteed he's not going to seek out a truly transformational choice...he's going to pick likely some white female stooge for that voting base. And neither him or the VP choice will give a shit about us til 2024.So who do you think would give a shit about us?
Tell me how Biden is going to make the future brighter for my family though. He's probably done more harm than anyone the last 30 years. Puffy is older than his Vote or Die days, and seen how thigns worked out. I don't get this endless resistance to people demanding that our agenda get focus. You don't see this shit with White, Latinos, Muslims, Gays, Women, just us.Because Puffy isn't always being genuine when he says shit like this and has been caught out with his pants off before (Grammy comments and sweeping Ma$e under the rug when he spoke out). Especially when he was literally preaching at a point in time to "Vote or Die" because that's how high the stakes were. Puff isn't the most politically aware celebrity and probably doesnt know that Trump has rolled back more civil rights laws for minorities than any other president in history. There's nothing wrong with asking the question tho and if he wants to hold his vote hostage that is completely fine to do.
Puffy holds a lot of influence and a lot of young people who don't know better or what to look for will join him. Right now, not voting, voting for independent or a party you know won't win or holding your vote hostage is a vote for Trump. Now do your own research and vote for the best candidate YOU think will better America. But understand as well that the choice you make will directly affect you and your children. These aren't things that young people think about as in-depth as other things.
Principal over political ambition..What's the argument against Stacey Abrams as VP?
Will we hold the white VP choice to the same standard though....Principal over political ambition..
Principal over political ambition..
Can you break this down for me?
to keep it brief its all about Bidens past praising and working with segregationist they water it down to "busing"
i feel that people think they are entitled to some sort of moment and will ignore this because of their own political ambitions.. Kamalas statement i am that girl was a political tool while it should have been personal thats my issue
But my question was, "What's the argument against Stacey Abrams as VP?". She's been basically campaigning to be Biden's pick, she went on TV and backed him on the sexual assault allegation, so I'm still confused by your answer.
