I get the issues though I'm just enjoying the ride of the comic book film era until the wheels fall off. Once upon a time we got Xmen and then had to wait til the end or beginning of next year for another film.

I didn't think Morbius was a big character to have a movie about, I remember the old Spider-Man cartoon in the 90's and he had the weakest appearances

I was honestly surprised Spiderverse was so good but I chalked it up to it being animated which prolly meant less of Sonys bum ass studio interference

The writing was far superior and animation wise was on par with the Mysterio illusion scene where Pete got rocked with the train.

He interacts with Blade sometimes in the.books but for the film since they're linked Venom could face off with him. Morbius is certainly a weird choice but I'll never shit on anyone trying to take a risk. Once upon a time RDJ was a scourge that studios wouldn't touch. If Marvel didn't give him that chance who knows where the genre would be.
