I agree with your first paragraph. I said as much in my initial post. How much he makes absolutely does have a bearing on how much he has to pay. I'm not even really sure how you're basing your argument. From a legal standpoint it matters because that's how the courts does it. From a moral standpoint it matters because you should be providing for your kids to the best of your ability not just meeting the bare minimum. What kinda logic is that. Just because the kids of some dude making 50k a year get by with a certain lifestyle, doesn't mean that's all a guy making 5M a year should be providing.

bruh, bare minimum would be a few hundred a month. That would be food, clothes, a small percentage of the rent and utilities needed to house the child. $1100 a month would afford a child a pretty nice, comfortable life as long as the mother is pulling her weight.

lol Did you just say that a father contributing $1100 a month for a child is "pretty nice." I guess we just have different ideas on what a father is supposed to do for his child. Either that or you living in the 80s or something. $1100 a month doesn't even cover childcare for one of my kids.

Why are you worried about covering the full cost of daycare? The mother is supposed to be covering at least as much as you are as well.

Again, I raised 4 kids. Two are now in their 20's and two are in high school. I've been the primary or sole breadwinner for this family the entire time so there's really nothing you can tell me about how much kids cost. If you're paying for 100% of your kid's daycare, you're getting fleeced. She needs to be covering half of that as well. If you'r in the house and the primary provider obviously you'd be paying for it in full, but since that ain't the case the mother of your child needs to get it together and pull her own weight as well.

it is what it is....if i'm living like royalty my children and whoever raising them get those same privileges.....

Bruh, my youngest daughter's daycare costs $1200 a month, and that's not even that expensive here for full week daycare. Even if there is an even split between the mother and father, that still leaves less than half of your proposed monthly contribution for everything else the child needs or wants for the entire month. We can dead this argument here. I don't care how many kids you have. If you think $1100 a month is a fair contribution from a middle class father let alone a multimillionaire, then we got nothing else to talk about because we just don't agree on what a father is and what he's supposed to do.

because they often have lives to demanding to be around those children 24/7

so they have two options ..either hire a nanny to be around their kids all the time, or let the kids be around their mother....


me personally i'd rather the kids be around their mother.....that's if she's a fit mother....which i can't imagine me not having.....


and if me and that mom's not together...she ain't gotta want for shit ....she got my kids...

This CS debate is a weird situation. Just because a women has a baby by a wealthy man doesn't mean she should get to live a life of luxury. If you took whatever money the mother earns or earned and broke it down to show what she could really afford. I'm sure no correct thinking father that is wealthy would want their child growing up in that environment.

At the same time I don't care how much money a wealthy parent is making per month or year. It doesn't take 20K a month to provide a great life for a child.

You know, there was a point in time where fathers were automatically awarded custody of his kids. They worked and they made due. They figured it out without the mother's help much like how women say they do nowadays.

How demanding is your life that you can't make time to raise your kids? Wealthier men than CB have done it; what's his excuse? Shit, for that matter average dudes are out here doing it all the time.

Your point is clear. No matter how wealthy a parent is the child never lives like the person who is actually making the money. Even if they live with you there is still a difference in how yall are living.

You ok with the woman living off you just because she had your child is cool. But to act like you can't understand why folks have a problem with that set up is insane. Pushing out a baby should never entitle someone to things in life they could never provide for themselves. Add on to that most women in that situation no longer even try to provide that type of lifestyle for themselves because they now feel ENTITLED to live that life off the back of the child you love so much.

Never met a parent who has no issue with someone using their child for their sole benefit.

In CB's case, the mother has his daughter with two nanny's. He might as well take full custody of his child and hire a nanny to fill in the gap when he's not around or just to help out since she clearly can't be bothered enough to be with her all the time.

You already know these niggas don't know shit about these bitches they getting pregnant. If the bitch can afford a nanny because you paying 20K a month and she has no job. Explain how the mother is really raising the child. Rich peoples nanny's cook the food, wash the clothes, clean the house, drop off and pick the child up from school, tutors are paid for out the support.

After all that tell me how the mother really is the one RAISING the kid.

You keep just leaving it at the kids. Nobody would have a problem if the whole 30K went to the benefit of the child alone. The problem comes in with the woman no longer ever having the need to work because she is also benefiting more so than the child off that 30K a month.

I agree with you that the mother is going to get some type of residual effect of being the mother to a child by a wealthy man. But those residual effects changing her whole lifestyle to the point she no longer has to even think about working for 18 years at least is some whole other shit.
