Well, this is one hell of a culture shock.

Bush literally set the precedence. He made a law that said if any American service member or his cabinet members are arrested for war crimes in the middle east that America would invade the Hague. The American Service-Members' Protection Act.

Putin will be ok.

In your “more realistic” example do you actually believe people would give a fuck if a nation confiscated Soros or Koch brother super Yachts, PJ’s and other assets?

Because the answer is the same as it is for the general Russian population. Nobody would give a fuck about the assets of the super wealthy whom helped influence the current predicament.

I wasn’t asking about the general public, I’m asking how would our govt be expected to respond. Apologies if I was unclear.

Would we not go to war if a foreign power started ganking billionaires?

If it was the likes of Jeff bezos, Elon musk I think at least half Americans would be celebrating.

Also billionaires =individuals for the most part and may not be even invested in politics or just a few things that better than company/pockets

Oligarchs= super rich gang gang ass niggas that are 100% into all the politics being led by a dictator

Imo its huge difference
