FEATURED Russia Declares War on Ukraine

test
The sanctions have to be dire at this point. They gotta cut Russia off from EVERYTHING, and let the Russian people handle the rest.

But then how is Europe gonna heat itself.

50% of all gas in Germany comes from Russia.

What is Germany gonna tell its poor people when they freezing cause the price of heat is up 3-4x its normal amount in the middle of winter.

Yall acting like Putin is dumb and hasnt considered all this.

Putin is counting on the fact that putting sanctions on Russia is the same as Europe putting sanctions on themselves.

Notice this mfer invades during winter too.

So Russia is like lets see who breaks first, me needing to sell you gas for cash, or you needing this gas for heat.

Imo, Putin is thinking he takes all the Ukrainian land that he can in a month or two, and then sign a cease fire with the contingency that the sanctions from Europe ease up.

Cause as much as Russia is dependent selling Europe natural gas, Europe is dependent on buying it.
Germany is mainly dependent on russian oil and they have delivered the hardest sanctions. So that kills the theory

Also look at America motives they want to sell "sustainable" alternatives while France is backing capitalising of nuclear power plants.

This is going to affect the prices of everything globally petrol has already gone up.

Prices will go up but the EU won't let Germany go without oil everyone would help Europes strongest power

What I do know for a fact is that all the Americans that had an issue with taking in African and Middle Eastern refugees are gonna no problems taking in Ukrainian refugees by the hundreds of thousands
You only have to look at Europe to realise this isn't actually true. Class plays a huge part and politicians will use the same language they use for race but twist a few words

Thats a very short term way of looking at it.

Germany put the toughest sanctions on Russia by not certifying a natural gas pipeline that goes directly from Russia to Germany.

This is the same pipeline the Obama administration along with the rest of Nato begged Germany not to build. Meaning this decision was before Trump.

Germany went against the wishes of the rest of the West and still built the pipeline cause natural gas prices were going out of control.

All that is a long way to say, yea Germany put a hold on certifying the pipeline which is the single act that hurts Russia the most, but it also hurts Germany. So the question is, how long can Germany keep it up, and who breaks first?

All this is leading up to a 60-90 day conflict in which Russia walks away with half of Ukraine, and gives the other half back with the contigency that Europe will ease the sanctions.

Which Europe will do, cause they need that Gas

Not at all. The US is already planning to take in a bunch of Ukranian refugees and US citizens def wont be against it.

Last I heard the number being discussed in the US is in the 6 digits

What I'm saying is all a right wing politician had to say is they don't share your values, they are different now you have low wages because they are undercutting etc and you will see they are not welcomed
