The one between three and three.
When I'm in the second home of Detroit then I be on my best behavior, and certainly not trying to go to hoods like Highland Park and it's a hood on the Eastside that I was told to stay away from. It might be Morningside but correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah, I go to those hoods alone and I might get swung on because my accent will stand out. A nigga gotta be careful about being in an area that he's not from. One thing that fools gon have is jealousy. You'll come through their spot and all the girls choosing because you'll a new face and fools will be ready to take yo head off because you're getting all of the attention
Ain't shit sweet over in Morningside. Shit's a hop, skip, and a jump from Mack and Bewick and you had to have heard about staying away from there... unless you live there. One of my boys' moms stayed right off the service drive in Chandler Park-Chalmers. Back then it was an ok spot to live in, just don't cross the freeway and wind up on Harper and Chalmers. And when I say "ok" I mean his Monte Carlo SS was stolen from in front of her crib and his Trans Am GTA was stripped while parked in the driveway.
Truth be told, I always tended to stay away from the east side unless I had specific business there or if I was hittin one of the nicer neighborhoods. It'll stay the same when I move back to MI, though I'll be in Ypsi when I finally touch down (@Breezy_Kilroy you still out there bruh?).
