PLAYSTATION PlayStation 5

Ayo fucc dat game b. Had .y nerves bad. Still aint finish it.
I enjoy horror movies but games are different. The only horror game I played was the dead space series 1-3. The story, graphics, controls, difficulty is what kept me playing after the first one. But that shit was scary lol.
When I first played it, I didnt think it would scare me. I put on headphones, and played in the dark. The first few minutes of playing had me then the lights on and remove my headphones, lol

Had my nerves on edge. I walked through the whole game just being careful. Set up traps behind me cause the monsters sneak behind you.
Horror games are too immersive

So I've been perplexed by the sheer amount of low-budget shovelware games that have been flooding the PS store. Like when you're looking for something new to download and you get pages of shit like the dancing taco or the rolling sushi and shit.

It turns out that these little shit games just have a bunch of easy to get trophies and these so-called "trophy hunters" buy them to rack up their virtual trophy collection. WTF kinda asperger's syndrome shit is that? Can someone please explain to me the value of pretend trophies for shitty games that I'm missing?
Can't explain for the "shitty" games but getting a platinum for a game is definitely fulfilling IMO

:hahaha:

I dont think I will need to get a second controller for a while. None of my friends have a ps5. Also, the next few games I will be getting for it will be one player.

The fighting games I will probably still get on ps4.

Hven't really played my ps5 much since getting my steamdeck. Last thing I did run was that COD beta. Other than that I just use it to watch Netflix

I guess when COD drops ill be running it more

What kinda games do ya'll dudes play? I ain't gaming like I used to back in the day, but there's always at least one thing out that I can pick up now and then.

Cool. I missed out on a couple of those. I'm considering back tracking and playing them.
As time goes on I’m going away from open world games just because the formula is getting tired and most of the games is time wasting activities

there needs to be more innovation there and less emphasis on how big the world is

Did you play Elden Ring? That was my first open world game, and I swear I put at least 20 hours in the riding the horse around accomplishing nothing. lol I don't know if I'm going to mess with another open world game. It was fun for sure, but it's too easy to get lost in them shits. The fact that it's a FromSoft game made it worse because I found myself somewhere getting destroyed by regular enemies thinking I just needed to get better at the game. It took me a while to realize I was just somewhere I wasn't supposed to be yet.
