Fix it in post
Do you have a uv filter on your lens?Aiight, figured I'd ask y'all this to get the thread moving again:
How do you deal with or reduce green and purple fringing when you got a lens all the way out?
I posted a few pics from an outing today in the Pic Thread, but this is one I didn't post:

I got the hawk nice and in focus as well as the limb it's sitting on, but everything in the background is fucked up with this purple and green fringing.

Just checked, nope. Though I could have sworn I did.
That may have something to do with it. I haven't experienced none of what you was describing on any of my pics. Did you try shooting of something else?Just checked, nope. Though I could have sworn I did.

U planning to keep both or give one back?Picked this joint up a couple of days ago. $200 at a pawn shop. They got a few Canon prime lenses there I'mma check out tomorrow after the gym. I really needed this replacement for my 75-300 kit lens. I have a real love hate relationship with it 'cause sometimes I can pull off some pretty decent shots with it and other times the chromatic aberration and bokeh is so bad I wanna throw the shit into the river.
Taking them both out tomorrow to see what's what.

The pawn shops out here don't never have any camera stuff. Even in the good area nothingKeeping it for the time being. My nephew is really into photography and my sister and I are putting a few bucks together to get him his first DSLR. I saw a Canon Rebel T5 with a Canon 18-55mm IS lens in the pawn shop for $200 so that'll probably be it, and if that's it then I'mma toss him the 75-300 kit lens and probably my Canon 35-80mm joint so he has a few options starting out. I did the same for my niece from my other sister a couple of years ago. My pops gave her one of his older Nikon bodies, and I happened to have a couple of pretty decent Nikon lenses I was using with an adapter that I gave her to go along with it.
Im picking up a 35mm today. I've only ever shot with a 50mm, but I think the 35mm is more my speed.
