Yep we probably wont ever even see any of these companies hit anything close to 5 mil again. WWE is the measuring stick and they cant even hit 3 mil anymore.

And right now all these mfs sharing the exact same fan base. There is no wrestling boom so you should just enjoy that shit for what it is.
 
I don’t want wrestling to be anything like the attitude era. I like AEW being around so there’s another wrestling company with more money that the McMahons so there’s some competition

Vince and his shenanigans of not building stars, not following what the fans wanted, and horrible creative is what drove fans away from wrestling.

10 million fans just "grew up" and there were no new fans coming in? What does that say? WWE is wrestling for a lot of people. Wrestling goes as WWE goes. So if the wrestling audience shrunk by that much it says that WWE was on some mess that whole time and drove people away.

WWE was the only major game in town for about 20 years.


But then again the fact that I gotta even argue this shows exactly why Vince wins. Y'all have a good day
 
I honestly just think that for that short time

wrestling was trendy and like all trends...it ends and that period lives comfortably in nostalgia land.

And I may be wrong...but aside from like the NFL and NBA the WWE programs are usually the most viewed for that night

and I think Raw is USA’s most viewed program

not sure about Smackdown on FOX but Im sure its proly a top 5 most viewed program

so just because its not bringing in 10milly like back in a time when it was trendy and people consumed entertainment way differently means the biz is dying
 
Wrestling business is alive and thriving for wrestling fans. Fuck waiting on a boom period, its booming for me when I'm at work and I'm actually excited about coming home and watching AEW Dynamite as it has been the better all around wrestling show in a while to me. Im excited when Takeovers go down in NXT knowing Triple H is running it , tho I still think they give too much away during shows I still look forward to Takeovers without having to sit through any build ups just off the rep alone. Unfortunately NJPW has slowed down since cornavirus but right before the virus hit NJPW gave me an adrenaline rush in the arm when it comes to how good wrestling can be. Bullet Club, Okada, Naito, Ospreay, Zack Sabre Jr like them boys do this shit so effortlessly and booking being done 1 year in advance at all times makes for solid storytelling.

Point being, fuck waiting on a boom period if it happens it will happen but personally there is so much good wrestling content out these past few years compared to the shit WWE 2007-2011 era that I'm just thrilled to still be fan while there is so many dope outlets to pull from.

Jaxson Ryker returned to WWE TV during tonight’s pre-RAW Main Event tapings.


Ryker appeared in a show-opening segment with Elias, which was interrupted by WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth. It looks like WWE has paired Elias and Ryker together for Main Event, and possibly RAW.


This was Ryker’s first WWE TV appearance since The Forgotten Sons were pulled from SmackDown in the middle of a big push following pro-Trump comments he made on Twitter back in late May. As noted before at this link, Ryker’s former partners Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler were brought back to WWE TV during last Friday’s SmackDown on FOX, in a new alliance with King Baron Corbin. There had been talk of WWE possibly releasing Ryker, but it looks like he may have a new home on the red brand.

Just saw the line up for IMPACt tonight with Kenny Omega and Tony Khan appearing. They have a chance to put on a show to convert some AEW fans over and they fucking book Cody Deaner vs EY and Brian Meyers(Kurt Hawkins) vs somebody as 2 of the 3 matches advertised. Idiots man. AEW just giving the free promo at this point.
 
I like that Orton and HBK shit but he could of chose better songs to mash together fr.

He usually does hip hop mash ups that are dope. so I was surprised when i saw some with wrestling themes
 
Just read that rumored main event at Mania is a triple threat with Keith Lee vs Lesnar vs McIntyre for the strap. Imagine if they put Lee over with the title there. Put the rocket on that man and let him fly.
