As we reported on www.PWInsiderElite.com, there was a change backstage this week at Raw as writers for the promo segments were internally listed on run-sheets for the show, which traditionally has not usually been the case.

Alexandra Williams was listed for the Punk promo. She is a Senior Writer for the company and has been with WWE for four years.

Brian Parise, a longtime member of the creative team, was listed for the Jey Uso promo.

Christian Scovell, a writer and producer for the company who has been with WWE for five years, was listed for the Sami Zayn promo.

Traditionally, no one would be listed internally for segments that do not have physical interactions between talents.

In asking about the change, one source referred to it as a "natural evolution" in how the company handles their creative.

Variety reported today that WWE will broadcast a live NBC special on Saturday 12/14 from The Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY.

The special will be a relaunch of the old Saturday Night's Main Event specials.

The first ever SNME special back in 1985, headlined by Hulk Hogan vs. Bob Orton, was taped at the Nassau Coliseum, so WWE is leaning into history here.

The Nassau event will have an online pre-sale on 9/19.

WWE's new deal with NBC Universal that brought Friday Night Smackdown to the USA Network includes a number of live NBC specials. The last live NBC special was February 1988, featuring Hulk Hogan losing the WWF title to Andre the Giant to set the stage for Wrestlemania IV.

Nigga I’m IN THERE!!

According to Wrestlenomics, the latest Collision netted 268,000 viewers and a 0.08 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic. Those are up from the previous episode (70% and 100%, respectively), but that previous episode aired on Fri., Sept. 6 opposite WWE SmackDown and an NFL game. This past weekend’s numbers were down from Aug. 31 (7% in total audience and 20% in the demo), the last Collision to air in the show’s regular spot on the TNT schedule.

Saturday was Collision’s smallest audience and the second-lowest demo rating ever when airing on a Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

Nice and it’s gonna be live? You just know they gonna run a major angle prior to Wrestlemania. I like they got the OG music too lol.

WWE has been very aggressive with trying to locking new deals in for a number of talents of late, PWInsiderElite.com can confirm.

We are told that even though a number of talents have time on their deals, WWE officials have approached them about signing new deals that would lock them in even longer.

We can confirm that Rhea Ripley, WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax and WWE World Women's Champion Liv Morgan are among those who the company have been approached in recent weeks.

PWInsiderElite.com reported on 9/6 that former WWE Champion Sheamus was either very close to completing a new WWE deal or that the deal had just been completed.

Today, it was noted on The Pat McAfee Show that Sheamus had signed a new deal, confirming our report.

We are told the new deal likely keeps him with WWE another five years, which would mean the Fall of 2029.

Damn there saved it. Cuz when VKM had her wit the other lower tier talent lookin for that stupid azzz dinosaur egg...it was lookin shaky for her. I remember mofos began questioning her direction in the company.

But I've always said her joining JD was the biggest move for her. Developed more confidence in her promos. Chrisma/personality grew. Ends up becoming one of the top tier talents on the roster. Good shyt

This hits directly to my childhood. I remember always rushing to the tv in my sister's room to watch SNME. That intro music is iconic.
