On the April 29th edition of Monday Night RAW, Dijak was drafted to the red brand from NXT in a post show pick. His contract status was a prevalent topic on social media on Monday evening, with many assuming he had signed a new deal.
Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has learned from sources in NXT that as of Tuesday morning, Dijak had yet to re-sign or be approached regarding a new deal despite being drafted to the main roster. However, both sides are confident that a deal will be reached, with Shawn Michaels and Triple H both being vocal supporters of the former Retribution member. In speaking with multiple departments, Fightful Select also learned that Dijak’s social media antics have drawn praise from the majority in NXT.
Brennan was also told that as of Monday evening, there are yet to be creative plans put into place for Dijak on RAW, but creative have been actively pitching ideas for Dijak’s callup. As previously reported, Dijak was not aware he would be called up to RAW ahead of time.
