As previously reported, Leo Rush appears to have a significant amount of heat on him within the WWE locker room and management. It was previously speculated that the source of the heat may have been his attitude and his belief that he should be a top star within the company.

According to a report by Fightful, the heat on Rush may be so bad that it’s unlikely that we’ll see him on television again. The report states that Rush has rubbed the locker room the wrong way on multiple occasions to the point of the locker room as a whole wanting him out of there.

The confidential sources cited in the report stated that at least some of the heat seems to stem from Rush’s insistence that his wife be present at all times while on the road with him. While there doesn’t appear to be any heat specifically on his wife, there have been at least two specific related instances that have caused an issue.

The first involved Finn Balor. According to the report, Balor attempted to pull Rush aside to give him advice, telling him that he didn’t think Vince McMahon would respond favorably to Rush’s wife sitting in on rehearsals. Instead of taking Balor’s words kindly, Rush reportedly responded unfavorably and word of the incident spread around the locker room quickly.

The second incident appears to have involved Rush telling the locker room that he and his wife would be getting a reality show soon. This appears to have ruffled feathers to the point in which management had to get involved.

In sum – if the report is to be believed, it seems likely that we’ve seen the last of Lio Rush on WWE television.

What would you do?

It was back in January when reports first surfaced regarding WWE stars The Revival’s (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) discontent with their positions in the company. After asking for their releases from WWE, the duo were asked to wait things out for a few weeks before making a decision.

What followed was a RAW Tag Team Title reign, a WrestleMania bout, and title loss to Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins. Aside from that, however, nothing much has truly changed for the pair. That doesn’t change the fact that WWE wants to retain the tag team. According to a report from Fightful, both men have been offered five-year, $500,000 contracts.

Neither man has accepted the deal as of this writing. It will be interesting to see if that changes in the coming days. With a new alternative now available in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), it’s possible Wilder and Dawson opt to go after a new opportunity when the time comes.

Easier said than done. WWE knows if these wrestlers are able to leave, hundreds would have no problem filling those spots. It’s been working for years so why change it now?
Hundreds with no connection to or investment from audiences...no exp working WWE style, amongst other things...

If they really squaded up it would be a major prolem for WWE

We have an update on Lio Rush, courtesy of PWInsider. Rush’s WWE run has been plagued with reports of backstage heat. He addressed the situation last week on social media, but his future on the main roster remains in question.

The Man of the Hour was backstage at Monday’s Raw, but he was not used on camera despite Bobby Lashley having a prominent role. WWE has yet to acknowledge his absence. The latest buzz is that Lio Rush will soon be moved back to WWE’s NXT brand

Lio Rush did not make any allies when he mocked Tenille Dashwood’s WWE release back in the fall of 2017. PWInsider has provided new details about a few other incidents that are working against the 24 year old star.

Rush apparently got a lot of heat on himself back in November on WWE’s European tour. Junior members of the roster are expected to follow backstage etiquette that includes menial tasks. For example, handing out water bottles to talent in the gorilla position after their matches, setting up a private area for the talent back at the hotel, etc. Rush did not participate in these ‘paying your dues’ tasks. Not only was he unreceptive to feedback, but he reportedly complained to WWE management.

In addition to these incidents, Rush has also been bringing people backstage without proper credentials and has continuously ignored advice from veteran talent.

Overall, he’s earned a reputation that he feels ‘above it all’ and does not have to follow the rules and protocols that apply to everyone else. The behavior was first chalked up to inexperience, but things have not improved and he’s turning out to be his own worst enemy

Man if these crybaby ass dudes don't get outta here. So people getting in trouble for not giving other talent water or doing hotel stuff that the hotel staff is getting paid to do. This company is way too petty with this stupid stuff

About those wwe Twitter “beefs”:

- Mike Johnson of PWInsiderElite.com noted the following about WWE controlling the Twitter accounts of talents:

“I do believe that WWE has the right to control [Superstar] Twitter accounts. When you sign there you are told to give your password over to the digital media department and you are told not to give your password to any one else. So it’s possible that anything that pops up there in terms of pushing storylines those have been pushed by digital media, but they wouldn’t have to fall under the TV-PG auspices.”

WWE Raw ratings hit non-holiday record low

Raw set yet another all-time modern low outside of football season last night with 2.16 million viewers.

The show only beat episodes this past New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve for the record-low mark. What's really scary is this was a nine percent drop from the record non-football season low of 2.37 million viewers that was set last week.

Last night's Raw saw a strong 18.8 percent first-to-third hour drop, falling just under 1.9 million viewers, the first time under two million for Raw outside of a holiday. But the real story was how few fans were watching at the start.

Worse, the traditional pattern is that the decline is just starting and will get worse until the end of the NBA playoffs.

Most of Raw went against the early NBA playoff game that did 3.83 million viewers. The last 25 minutes went against a game that did 3.64 million viewers. It did beat the NHL playoffs on NBC Sports Network, which did 1.18 million viewers.

Still, Raw was eighth for the night on cable and beat everything that wasn't NBA or news related.

For a year-to-year comparison, the NBA playoffs were down 18.3 percent from the same week last year, while Raw was down 29.4 percent, the biggest drop from the previous year when you compare two shows that weren't specials (such as a year after a very highly rated nostalgia show).

The audience under the age of 35 was almost identical to last year, and over 50 was down, but not an unusual amount. It was the 35-49 audience that collapsed from last week, although even based on not including that demo it would have done a record low number.

The three hours were:

  • 8 p.m. 2.34 million viewers
  • 9 p.m. 2.24 million viewers
  • 10 p.m. 1.90 million viewers

Idk what he bout to do but at this point I wont be surprised if WWE repackaging him and this is all just a swerve cause Rollins still talking about him in interviews. I just read one tonight b4 RAW.

People speculating he'll show up at AEW ppv too but idk
