Ziggler had the machine behind him a few times
Just came out yesterday Vince told creative when they booked him for the WHC title to make sure they understand he is not a main event guy nor should be booked long term as one as the title was just to set something up for somebody else to get in a short period.

Makes sense because he was immediately shot back down to mid card status right after both super short runs.

BWE said some of the releases will end up being brought back at some point
Which is stupid to do anyway.

Reports came out saying they were cut specifically to free up 50 million dollars of talent who arent going to be used going forward and the new owners were requesting it unless they going to bring some back for half the pay.

makes you wonder whether Vince really believes in Average Cody Rhodes??? or did they get him to piss Tony Khan off & recruit other disgruntled Aew talent?

Hit them with lower pay

I can see Riddle being brought back if he goes a year or so cleaning his shit up completely
Shelton I can see getting a legends contract, being brought back for a producer role

Thats about it....

Luke Gallows has been absent from WWE TV of late.

On the September 22 episode of Smackdown, Gallows was not seen on screen, while Karl Anderson expressed sincere concern about AJ Styles' well being, and Mia Yim (cowardly, honestly) did not beat up the Bloodline. The previous week, Michael Cole mentioned that Gallows was injured.

Gallows has not wrestled in over one month, last teaming with the OC at a live event in Canada. Fightful was told that Gallows had to get his knee scoped, and would miss about six weeks. However, we don't know when the knee was scoped, and don't yet have details on if it's a six week timetable from then, or from now. We'll work to find out additional information on that.

Best wishes to Gallows, who we hope has a speedy recovery.

as soon as he's healed him & Anderson are released.

Yea, one reason for the cuts supposedly was cause some of them were making good main roster money without being used at all. I could see them offering to bring some back If they'll agree to a less amount but thing is they might not wanna come back now that they free

Someone else also mentioned that if this is anything like the ESPN cuts then WWE are probably looking to bring in some bigger names at some point down the line like ESPN did with Pat, Shannon, etc.

Release you so we can bring you back at a lower price even though we just signed the biggest TV rights deal in wrestling history

Perfect example....Drew.

Muthafucca got fired. Worked the indies. Built his reputation back up. Got himself over to the point where WWE came back for him again.

Had a nice run in NXT

Was paired with Dolph when he went back to the main roster for a while and then eliminates Brock at the men’s rumble in 2020 to a loud ass pop and beats Brock for a world title at that years mania

That's the formula

Damn near everybody who left with something to prove came back and got a push even down to wack ass Jinder and Prince Albert.

I look for Zack Rider (Matt Cardona) to be back at some point cause he's expressed wanting to return.
