Didn't Bill start in mid 97 and by 99 the company was going downhill toward financial ruin, that drawing power didn’t last long.

But he was a big part of their highest high regardless of length. Meaning he did more for that promotion than most, objectively speaking.
 
Just missing the point Goldberg was on top at one od their highest moments and was part of the reason for that but ofcourse along with what the nWo and Sting did.

Goldberg beating Hogan in the GA dome is still to me one od wrestling biggest and iconic moments. Shit was pretty amazing to watch.


And that match wasn't ppv either if I'm not mistaken. That shyt was on Nitro.
