Arum not wrong but his statements also goes to show how trash promoters are and have been for a long ass time now. More than half the shit Arum talking is his fucking job as the promoter. He supposed to find the investors to make that shit happen. Then promote the shit out of the fight to drum up the interest from outside the core and casual fans to make that shit profitable for all the investors.
If a fighter has a outgoing personality or someone on his team who is good talker and can appeal to different groups of people. Just promote yourself & pay that person to promote you on all social media platforms. Show up to certain events that don't have shit to do with boxing. Just pay the promoter a flat fee to do all the logistical shit when a fight is made. Other than that fighters don't need promoters cause they don't do shit anymore.
Regardless of what Arum said. Starting to think that Spence vs Crawford might not happen.
