Yeah he is well known in the UK... Him and Tom Molineaux both fought Tom Cribb too, both fights drew huge crowds...
The first Tom Molineaux fight had something like 18,000 people from all over the UK (maybe world) making their way to a muddy field in the middle of the countryside and camping out to watch the fight, a huge effort to watch a sporting event when your transport is horse and cart etc Molineaux would had KO'd him if the crowd didnt invade the ring to give Cribb time to recover...
