Roy

He was the more efficient player. He shot better overall percentage from the field, almost the same percentage from 3, similar from the free throw line, and most importantly less turnovers while averaging close to the same average assists wise.

Niggas only choosing Gil because he say wild shit on the innanet and those gold trash bag jerseys he used to wear.

The real know about Roy

Gilbert wasn't a scrub but he was a bit overrated and a chucker. He had one really good season (05-06) where he shot efficiently while scoring alot, other than that his efficiency wasn't good.

Brandon Roy on the other hand was a model of efficiency. The reason his field goal percentage is as low as it is overall is due to his last two seasons playing injured dragging it down. He wasn't the greatest 3 point shooter but he was solid and you had to respect him from there but most importantly for a guy who handled the ball as much as he did and helped run the offense, he rarely turned the ball over! Plus he was okay on defense

So ur goin w Gilbert over roy cuz Gilbert shot deep 3s?

Gilbert was more explosive. He could get anywhere on the court. Amazing handle quick string finisher with either hand clutch.

Yes I'm taking Gilbert over B-Roy.

B-Roy was nice as hell to. Really smooth game and he wasn't overly athletic. Nigga had a great feel for the game and was so skilled.

But Gil was so explosive and if both their careers hadn't ended early I would still take Gil

Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic retested negative for the coronavirus in Serbia, but travel issues and the timing of the requisite testing made it difficult for the All-Star to join the team for its flight to Orlando, Florida, a source confirmed to ESPN.

A source said Jokic is healthy. However, the center had to produce two negative coronavirus tests in Serbia before traveling to the United States. And then he was required to produce two more negative tests before flying to Orlando with the team. A source said the timing of everything made it difficult and too tight of a fit for Jokic before the team departed on Tuesday.

I’ll go with Roy.

he didn’t even reach his peak IMO and still was the better player

That's skewed by the Orlando numbers. What kind of fuck shit is that if we comparing them at their peak?

Lol at putting an asterisk on Roy's 2 injury seasons but not giving gilbert the same pass and throwing his post suspension and injury was/Orlando/Memphis numbers in there.

Gilbert averaged 25 points per game shooting 42% from the field, 36% from three, 80 from the line, a little under 6 assist with almost 4 turnovers per game while in Washington. Gilbert only had 2 seasons where he shot over 44 % from the field during that stretch which shows he shot alot to get his points and turned the ball over alot. Those were his prime years

The question isn't about their prime years though. It's at their peak. Meaning, at their very best, who was better? Period.

Arenas at his very best or Roy at his very best?
