This is a ring around the moon, a large one. It is believed by natives this means it will be a cold winter this year. Taken yesterday.
If we are at a solar minimum rn, that is a major indicator of a cold winter.

Y’all turn y’all heater on when it’s cold outside? It’s 55 degrees in my house.
I use to be that way. Then I realized I was torturing myself for like $3 worth of heat. I keep it on 70.
Just to knock the chill out. It's finally down to 68... @ about 72 I'll turn it off.
