I mean... not really. It’s the same way many many people have taken Nip’s death and made it about Lauren.

They’re both irrelevant points to raise in this forum surrounding the death of Nip. Anyone that thinks that way needs to get over themselves because at this point they’re taking a man losing his life and a woman losing her life partner and making it about their own personal feelings and social politics

Snoop and Nip are from where they rep, its ingrained in their DNA. They bring Positivity/New way of life to niggas who normally up against it, and see niggas as food. In other words we need to do better and we actually can do better. As youve stated and we all know niggas get mad when being held to a higher standard than whats normal.

But is what we consider normal really just a low standard of whats expected from us. How many black dads get accolades just for being an active dad? Shit you supposed to do.

But this is about nip. There were probably many brothers before him in the same wave he was without the press or fame

I think her point makes sense. Niggas was acting shocked that kodak said wipd shit towards a grieving widow ignoring completely who Kodak is. No problem with checking the nigga but he aint been checked before and done said worse shit. And no its not directly bout nipsey but all this shit is public its just like that so we gotta discuss other povs.

yes it is about nip and what he did.
and the press he got may have inspired quite a few people who will still be rocking after this wave dies down.
and thats why we need to show what others do before they die. to help inspire others.

and i know ill get hate for this but
what he did should be the norm of us men for our community.
he should not stand out for doing whats should be normal.
this all should make people rethink what they consider normal.

imagine what LA could be if just an 8th of those dudes went as hard at fixing LA like nipsey did

Speak for yourself. Kodak definitely got checked at H0t97 about the assault case and that wasn't too long ago. It also wasn't done in a disrespectful manner. Real ones didn't get up in arms in Kodak's defense when that occurred. Also factor in that the case hasn't gone to trial yet. In this instance Kodak is receiving backlash for what we all saw him say out of his mouth with our own two eyes. It's also playing pretend as if people gave him some sort of pass for his Young MA comments few weeks back (ie. he didn't get a pass for that).

All that aside playing outrage olympics with the legacy of a dead man not even one week after his death is some bitch made shit. Whether it's coming from a man, woman or whoever.
