New job is requiring me to be fully vaccinated

like i said, vaxxers have become increasingly annoying over the past few months. ive seen ppl laugh about the possibility of anti vaxxers dying, paying higher cost for medical care, and calling folks stupid or “undereducated”

when in reality the most vaccine hesitant group hold a phd

Updating information has always been how science works. The problem is we live in a time period where people for some reason find fault in changing your mind once new information is presented so they see the CDC changing as some some of dishonesty. Hence the comments about people not understanding how basic science works.

You can also find anti vaxxers, hell the posts have been made here, joking about people dying or being ill in the future from whatever side effects they think the vaccine will have.

The problem with those on the anti vaccine side is they're not making a clear distinction between those who are genuinely hesitant vs those who are clearly engaging in the conspiracy theory bullshit. It's been said multiple times that being hesitant isn't a bad thing. But saying shit that you know sounds like crackpot theories is just flat out stupid. You don't wanna be grouped in with them then you gotta make sure your stance doesn't fall in line with theirs.

I don't find fault in answers changing, cuz like you said, that's how science grows. But I am fed up with people being ignorant to that fact the vaccjbewas pushed as being able to rid us of the rona until it was discovered it won't and yet is still being pushed as a miracle vaccine.

The one who's parroting shit is you. Whatever "science" says regardless of common sense or using your own brain. Right? 😂😂 To even try to present that it's not possible for side effects down the line from a vacc not even fully FDA approved yet and in infancy phases is absurd, period.
Especially with the repetitive booster shots coming.

It also bothers me that the medical community is ready and willing to admit(and have many times) that we've virtually deafeted cold and flu with our efforts. So then triple play doesn't work on covid? Wtf are we using it then? Covid can go farther than 6ft? Why aren't we standing farther apart? Covid is getting past the masks better than cold and flu? Can we make better masks? Wtf is going on here? How can two long term battles(100s of years) be deaded so easily yet covid is some kind of monster... idk... something don't jive here....

! ! ! ! ! the biggest mistake the cdc made was lifting the mask mandate indoors. america, in typical colonial fashion, rushed reopening and now its a fucking shit show

shouldve stayed lockdown or enforce restrictions based on covid levels, require mask at all times when out and about and promote social distancing!

everyone who died or is currently dying should be alive right now

whats happening now is criminial at this point. vax or not

It was never pushed as being able to get rid of Corona though. People and their lack of understanding on what vaccines do spread that

Now this is where legit criticism of the cdc lies. They fell beholden to capitalism just as the rest of this planet has and buckled under the pressure to lift the mask mandates.
