Nuremberg

Praise: It is beyond fascinating and terrifying to witness a criminal and murderer say the words : I didn't do anything wrong, I was just following orders . Such are the feelings I had watching Russell Crowe's great performance as Hermann Göring the highest-ranking surviving Nazi at Nuremberg. Going head to head with Crowe's performances is Rami Malek as Douglas Kelley an American psychiatrist who has to get to the core of Göring before his trial. How this all plays out is highly involving as Göring believes he's just in all of the atrocities he's been apart of and thinks he will be able to overcome anything Supreme Court associate justice Robert H. Jackson (Michael Shannon) throws his way. The performances from multiple actors including Leo Woodall as Sergeant Howie Triest ,John Slattery as Colonel Burton Andrus, Mark O’Brien as Colonel John Amen and Colin Hanks as Dr. Gustave Gilbert.
Stunning and horrific real images of the concentration camps displayed were moving and then some but definitely not for the faint of heart. The film also displays how even getting close to an absolutely horrible person can sway you for a bit but the realization of what the person did definitely brings one back to reality and I thought that played out very well in one of the movies most memorable scenes.
PROBLEMS : There were some scenes and moments I wish had been longer to really pull me in as they played out on screen. Some parts of the movie were to blatantly filled with errors and how they played out didn't make much sense.
Scale of 1 to 10 an 8½
