Nah, he bodied Art Lean first to show he was a savage. He gets bodied by a newly powered Cole in like 10 minutes of movie time.

Big plot hole, Raiden oversaw his ancestor's safety but then I guess he said said "fuck it, yall on yall own" somewhere down the line and let one of Cole's parents leave the temple or something. High key, he's responsible for Cole being such a garbage fighter tbh, had some real shitty uncle energy in this movie.
 
Was reptile in this movie I know they got attacked by a lizard but I only recognize Reptile when he got his Ninja gear on
 
Watched it Friday.

Pros: I thought the fight scenes were pretty epic.

Cool seeing a lot of characters from deep in the mythos make an appearance despite only being on screen briefly.

Sub zero stole the show

Loved how they set it up to be a total franchise. I expect there to be a lot more to be seen.

Cons:

Most of the dialog was fucking stupid. Acting wasn't great.

They barely went into any detail on who these characters were or why they are involved.

Cole as a character was completely unnecessary imo. Should have followed Liu kang as the lead.

Got more go say but I gotta go cook.

Maybe I missed it but how was shang tsung able to break the rules right in front of raiden? In the games, he was mad covert in his deception. In this movie, he didnt give a fuck and there were no consequences.
