I don't want to speak for @DOS_patos, but I think his issue was more the fact that the writer demonized MJB as if he was intentionally taking from others to their detriment.

Sometimes people just don't think that deeply about the shit they do. A lot of these celebs don't even come up with these ideas. They have agents and financial advisors that give them leads, and they just roll with them. It's possible to teach and correct without always tearing down and making personal attacks.

Who made a personal attack on him though? I stated earlier I doubt folks are thinking he did this on purpose. But also folks are t giving you leeway in the age of information. But niggas wasn’t screaming cancel this dude. And to a lot of folks in regular day to day life who have TI be sensitive to other cultures the excuse of I didn’t know(especially for the rich) falls on deaf ears. But he ain’t being canceled Twitter didn’t drag him. He apologized.

Now idk why all these other niggas think Trinis are just whining is beyond me

He was basically called a bougie opportunist in that post. That's lightweight, but it's still a personal attack that was probably unwarranted.

The Trinis had the right to be mad with MBJ especially given how much African Americans cry out about cultural appropriation. He was wrong. He apologized. That should be the end of it.
