Breaking News Mass Shooting In Maine; 18 People Dead & 13 People Injured

Lol, bruh, that's literally been your argument in all of the threads like this!
False equivalency. That point you quoted was a macro take with regard to having fewer incidents. The point I made in this thread was regarding gun folks argument about fewer deaths per incident.

Each incident averted equals zero deaths.

Nice try though.

Which was literally your argument overall.

by the sounds of things, his guns should have been taken away from him after he was committed to a mental institution and after he threatened to shoot shit up.

So yeah, something was done. Laws were created.

Sounds like the system failed.

RIP to the victims.
So someone failed to do their job with submitting paperwork or something so he'd have his firearms taken away

My argument was fewer incidents leading to fewer deaths. The argument I referenced gun owners make is fewer deaths per incident. Very different.

We’ve been on this merry-go-round too often though. We can respectfully disagree.

That's been the problem: Getting law enforcement to actually enforce these laws. Buffalo and several others would have never happened had the laws that were already on the books been enforced properly.

When they said they haven’t identified 10, immediately I assumed they were 17 and younger. Terrible.
