tbh, at this point, they need to cut bait with that dude and recast him
he's just not that appealing
and from i hear in the comics, he is...so something aint adding up...his scenes were just awful
i feel like they dumb Luke down too much when he's on screen with him

I don't think they intentionally dumb him down, it's just not believable that this Danny is the one to be giving Luke all this advice. Luke listening to him is what makes it seem like he's being dumbed down.

I am 95% sure the next season of Iron Fist is going to be fire. It got trashed so fuckin bad, they have no choice but to fix every intricate detail.

Whoever the showrunner is will make of break next season. I admit Luke Cage writers did a much better job with Dannys character and he acted like he should've.

I watched it. And it was absolutely the worst of all the seasons... But every show can't be a home run.
It was a solid origin that was rushed cuz of defenders. But given how heavily improved he acted looked and fought during Luke Cage, I'm actually looking forward to it.
I mean honestly think about it.... Say you're an actor and you get casted as the top martial artist in the marvel universe.
What kinda training you think you would go though after a season like that??

They just did a bad job of casting which is strange because no one, at least from fans were pressuring them to do so. They should've really taken their time. They could've always made a defenders show at some point but now they've put themselves in a bind by committing to him now
