i hate DW...

but all in all, as a whole, the season was official, but there were too many cringeworthy moments with the acting

im like gabi, i couldnt tell the difference b/t real authentic Jamaican accents and the basterdized ones used in the show ~shrugs~

I thought bushmaster was on par with Cottonmouth, but Mariah stole the show
 
My top 5 Luke Cage villains

1. Black Mariah- after this season she took the number 1 spot.

2. Bushmaster- he’s the Netflix version of Killmonger in some ways.

3. Cottonmouth- dope villain that got killed off too soon.

4. Diamondback- he gets a lot of unnecessary hate, although i understand why, we went from a multilayered and overall dope Cottonmouth to a cartoony villain with a laughable motive.

5. Shades- no homo

1. Mariah by default because they gave her more backstory and development than anyone else including Luke Cage

2. Shades. Gay shit aside, to see a man up to his nose in gang shit finally say "I've had enough. I'm out" was powerful. He was cold blooded when it counted but he still had a code. He's alot like Kingpin.

3. Bushmaster mainly because he beat Luke's ass 3 times. He's a weird one because his character is multidimensional but his motivations are one dimensional. "Mariah must burn"

4. Cottonmouth was a cool was nigga period.

5. Diamondback has alot of potential but they have to be intricate in making him layered instead of the cartoon we got in season 1.

Nah I'm not saying they didn't.

I'm saying that Bushmaster's entire life was centered around the family feud dynamic. So once the Stokes are all dead, there's nothing for him to do. Even after claiming Harlem as his birthright, he seems to have more stake in Brooklyn and Jamaica than Harlem. His only reason for being there was to kill Mariah and destroy the Stokes legacy.
 
so we really not gon call out Bushmaster for stealing Dale's pocket sand to defeat Luke in one of those fights?

Besides enhanced strength nothing much but nothing over the top. At one story arc she could log into computer's and hack them

I agree, I was expecting some dope shit to come from a bionic arm based on everybody else's excitement around it. At least let her tear some doors off the hinges or something. Knock a niggas head clean off maybe.
