I hated it when it first came out but I watched it when disney plus came out. Fight scenes were actually some of the dopest in mcu and it ties a lot of shit together. It was a big glue film.

Alot of people just didn't like it when it first came out. I think because the expectation was super high after the first avengers. But when you watch it now, it's VERY good and interesting when all of the expectations and hype around it is gone. My girlfriend did the whole marvel thing since she wanted to be up to date for infinity war years ago and she walked away thinking AOU and Ultron himself being the most fun, interesting and dope villain. Of course Thanos came through after and crush the buildings.

I felt like AOU was okay but what hurt it was that the villain was poorly executed they needed to build up Ultron more, they would’ve been better off using another villain that didn’t need buildup like a variation of Masters of Evil or even a Taskmaster.
