Welcome To aBlackWeb

When Mbaku told the agent they were vegetarians, was that a continuation of the original joke?

Because if not, there was a potential plot hole

No spoilers needed in here? No?..aight cool

Dopest moment for me in the entire more was when, and fuck names ion remember none of them niggaz name Cep killmonger

But dopest part for me was when after homie jumped on the Rhino and started charging at the ape nigga. And the chick jumped infront of the ape nigga and the Rhino stopped dead in its tracks and licked the sistas face...

Homie asked if she’d stand against her beloved and she said for Wakanda I will..and homie toss his weapon drops to his knees. And theres that pan back of the camera..it’s like a moment of the black man, succumbing to the will of a strong black woman for the better good of all people.

Mad symbolism in that scene, I thought for white writers and all that is white and involved in Hollywood. That’s the best message related scene I’ve ever seen.

As far as the scene that bothered me the most, the ending where he copped several buildings in the projects and they uncloak the shit. It really brought forth the reality of just how little wealthy black people really do when it comes to securing the prosperity of where they come from. It was a bad scene to me cause i feel like it brought forth the opposite feeling than it was meant to bring.

Shit didn’t make me feel positive shit made me feel angered

NIGGA WHAT????
The Grammys gave the hip hop award to Macklemore over Kendrick in on of Kendrick’s biggest year...they don’t normally get it right, they don’t normally hit the mark even when they try, even when black people are involved.

That scene hit its mark in every way possible, given that it’s Disney, given that it’s marvel, given that it’s big budget big movie..the fact that they got that powerful a scene so right on ever level.

It was surprising and moving, what don’t u get

BP was written by Ryan Coogler and Joe Cole. Both black dudes. Movie had white producers, but im 90% sure they had very little to do with the writing process. Just gave the writers some story points to include and they created a story making sure to include whatever the producers requested.

I think AP21's confusion is you claiming it was written by white dudes.

I didn’t know that black men wrote the movie..that’s why I said surprisingly that part hit its mark. Ap could have said, nah it was written by black dudes that’s why it was so well done..AP says “nigga what?”

Cause AP ain’t interested in back and forth open dialogue about the movie, AP is interested in creating a narrative about u, so ur opinion is at all levels less valid than his own.

Cause AP is a child

im sorry

i made an assumption you were being an asshole

but yeah man, this movie was all black everything

black wardrobe stylists

black make up artists

black camera crews

black writers, etc...

Just came from the theatre again and I noticed that Okoye always wore red besides the 1st end credit, T’CHALLA always wore black and Nakia always wore some type of green. The whole movie. Lol

The best part was when they went into the casino, they were red, black and green. Then they stood on the balcony in order as red, black and green. I don’t think that was coincidental at all. Lol. Maybe I’m reaching

I saw something on YouTube the other day pointing out the same thing and I think they did throw that in there on purpose to show Pan African unity or something like that

It wasn't. Coogler said that was done purposefully to represent the pan African flag specifically that part that you referenced in the casino.

I've always wondered why Iron Man in the comics doesnt use a vibranium suit?? He seems to have a decent friendship with BP, enough to get the required vibranium.

Or maybe BP doesnt want to give him the vibranium, thinking if he did that then every hero in the damn would would be begging him for vibranium then they'd have a bunch of indestructible motherfuckers running around lol.

I don’t know if I like this idea? Lol. I mean I’m sure whatever they do for Black Panther sequel will be good but White Wolf is one of the better Panther villains. Like someone else stated in here they could go a few other ways like Achebe, Maphisto or my 2 favorites in Dr. Doom (most likely will not happen) or Namor.

I’m excited to see what they think of
