This shit gets better with every listen. I don't mind the layers of Lupe's bars. I appreciate abstract art and this is no different in my opinion, which is why I always fucked with Lupe. There are times where I wish he scaled back a bit but I like to think creativity & Lupe is one of the best story tellers ever. The concept of this album and how it plays out over the first 9 tracks is hella dope, a little pretentious but not to the point of annoyance. Nobody really putting that much thought into their work like except Kendrick. The flow on Happy Timbucktu Day!! And Sun God Sam is my new shit. Wav.Files might be a top 5 Lupe track. I don't fuck with Down tho.

True, I read those tweets in the same way. But everyone has bad days/weeks, maybe he's just in a mood for whatever reason and is coming off like an asshole. *kanye shrug*

Nigga, you crazy about XO. I was night driving on the freeway, with the city backdrop, and that song was otherworldly. And his flow, once again, is on float status.

The song reminds me of like a sequel to Streets On Fire from The Cool.

I honestly didn't get that from his responses

But does every artist have to explain their art? I mean a nigga asking him to break down what, 20 songs in tweets? Twitter just not the platform for that. Now maybe lu could've just said that, but even I was pissed reading that question.

I'm listening to it on Spotify. I preordered it. I like the serious tone. Sounding like its going to be one of his best of off the first flew listens. Walking on water.

Good album but this is not topping Testsu and Youth at all.

"Body of Work" production kills alot of the songs on here alone.
