Well #1 Steph "sets up his teammates" better than 99% of players all time. That's not an actual issue.See that's the thing. And I am not saying Curry ain't a PG or isn't in the convo...
Even ESPN when discussing this they are talking about his shooting...ahh PGs #1 option is being the floor general, setting up your teammates..
And it's different times now because their are plenty of PGs that are talented as fuck scoring the rock...
Just for me...I am thinking about the passing part of it first.
I would take Isiah Thomas 1st as my point guard over Curry too....cause Zeke gonna run my team and could take over the game off of passing and scoring..
Shooting Guards are Playmakers? So he's the better shooting guard, nothing you posted tells me he's the better point guard
Steph is one of the greatest offensive engines EVER.Again..u are naming "scoring" when generally the PG position is to set up your teammates..not saying Curry doesn't do it...Zeke doesn't/did it more plus could score...
And had crazy handles...
Going back to zeke's passing..I still remember his bounce pass alley-oop to Terry Mills in mid transition..that ish was crazy.
Not better than Isiah, nobody talking about scoring but you steph backers.Saying he doesn't set his teammates up is categorically false.
1# is not true..u wanna check the all-time assist list for PGsWell #1 Steph "sets up his teammates" better than 99% of players all time. That's not an actual issue.
#2 Who are you going to win more with as your "Point Guard"?
Isiah Thomas running your team as a "Traditional Point Guard"?
or Steph Curry?
Yes he does. Not better than Isiah, nobody talking about scoring but you steph backers.
Steph is one of the greatest offensive engines EVER.
Saying he doesn't set his teammates up is categorically false.
Also mentioning Isiah in the same breath as Steph with Scoring is like mentioning Rudy Gobert in the same breath as Shaw as a post player
1. It is true. ASSISTS are not synonymous with "playmaking" or "setting people up"1# is not true..u wanna check the all-time assist record for PGs
2. Seeing how they both won multiple NBA titles you couldn't go wrong with either..something you keep missing...zeke could score and shoot. Had handles as well..
Isiah could not routinely dominate games with his scoring my man. That is hyperbole and I think you know that.1st off I NEVER said Curry didn't set his teammates up. Re-read what I said.
And I never said he was a better Scorer than Curry, I said he(isiah)could get you buckets too..he could dominate the game with his scoring and passing...
