Is ABW a safe space for Women?

This is exactly the reason I asked the question I did. Men don't have to be on some sexist/chauvinistic or thirsty shit to make women uncomfortable. Dudes, even friends, handle each other a lot more roughly than they tend to handle females. When you have a bunch of dudes interacting, you don't really have to worry about someone getting his feelings hurt, and if one does, he's not going to make an issue out of it because he doesn't want to be seen as a bitch. If you want to keep females on this site, dudes will have to chill with some of that and that means that the chicks on this site will likely wind up reporting shit that wasn't really sexist and wasn't really unusual for the interactions on this site.

Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. It's just something that needs to be acknowledged because if moderations are made based on those incidents, you're probably going to get some of these dudes resisting because the same moderations weren't made when they got in similar arguments with other posters. In other words all those types of moderations will have to become the norm or dudes on here will have to learn to tailor their behavior based on who they're interacting with. The latter shouldn't be that difficult because most of us do that in real life anyway.

So you interact with your boys differently than you do with your girls? And women interact with their girls differently than their boys.

We already do this everyday in life, why not do it here?

If my boy comes through with some funny shoes, im gonna destroy him. I dont do that with my girls though.

Why is it hard to follow the same rules of engagement here that we already do in our daily lives.

The shit I'm talking about is from my actual experiences and other interactions I've seen play out on here with multiple females. Niggas can play like they don't know who and what situations I'm talking about. I'm not gonna say names cause then I just look like I'm trying to pick fights which I'm not.

What I was attempting to do is take accountability for some of my actions while asking some of the females to take accountability for some of theirs.
Maybe then everyone can start to heal.

I wasn't making any blanket or general statements. Everything I said can be owned by another poster. It wasn't some roundabout shit it's facts.

The different between here and real life is there is no formal system in real life outlining and enforcing those rules of engagement. Again, from my standpoint, it's not a problem siding with a chick if she reports a dude because she felt he came at her too aggressively in a debate. I was just pointing out the possibility because when dudes start getting modded for that, some of them will push back and point out that such modding isn't done when two dudes are going at it, and they'll be right when they point that out. Mods will either have to implement rules and enforce them across the board or acknowledge they are more keen to enforce some breakages than others.
