If people want a platform specifically for black people at the exclusion of others they have to request a platform that addresses issues specifically for black people that doesn’t effect others.
Many of the things we need are not exclusive to black people, but if addressed will help black people disproportionately. Criminal justice reform is one. Voting rights is one. Student loan relief and business ownership are others.
Child care, homebuyer programs, etc. will all help black people disproportionately to the rest of the population because we are disproportionately impacted by these things.
So let’s not cut off our noses to spite our face.

Basically we are to the point where we have to vote Kamala in to keep Trump out and hope we can groom the next person to take over for Kamala if she's not up to the task.
I don't know why every 8 years Black people just won't admit they are voting Democrat no matter and no matter what the Democrats do.
The Black Agenda could literally be called Poopty Scoop and there will be motherfuckers talking about, "Well what else we are gonna do."
That's the winning argument for 99 percent of Black folk that are loyal Democrats.
It's
"What else are we gonna do?"
"You don't understand how the government works."
"Well, what are you doing to help Black people."
And everything it circles back to, "What else we are gonna do?"
Funny thing is everyone knows that there is nothing else that Black people and now they say it to your face. Unsugar-coated, uncensored, straight up tell you that you are non-viable. That there are no more moves on the chessboard. You gonna do what you always do, so why even bother pretending that you are not.

You provide a platform that helps Black Americans exclusively because any platform that provides healthcare, education reform without addressing the wealth gap will accelerate it. That's how the wealth gap got started throughout the 30s to the 50s when Black people were mostly excluded from the New Deal.
You don't it by race, you do it by addressing a specific claim and a specific harm like slavery and Jim Crow.
This is why Black Americans shouldn't ground themselves in Flat Blackness. It's over. Race is over.
It's about family and lineage and generational wealth transfers.
America doesn't provide universal healthcare and free college education because America assumes that you can afford it. America assumes that your grandpa and grandma gonna help you put a down payment on a house. America assumes your parents are paying for your college education. America assumes you are gonna get a good job straight out of college.
None of that happens for us.
This idea that America doesn't do things for a specific group of people only is cope.
It does all the time. You point out a specific harm that the government has caused and getting them to readdress it by having a sound historical and legal argument.
The question is, does America have the political will to look at her history and address slavery once and for all by freeing Black Americans from the taint of it by providing a path towards generational wealth and that has answer has been no.
And since it is no, Black folks spend their wheels trying to talk around why they are the way they are instead of saying the obvious: We don't have money in the richest country in the world. We don't have power in the most powerful country in the world.
There is no other discussion to be had.

Home ownership = $25k down payment assistance
Generational wealth and gap = $50k tax credit for new businesses and forgivable small business loans and student loan forgiveness
College education = student loan forgiveness
Good job = DEI initiatives and affirmative action
All things republicans are trying to kill.
Things are on the platform to address all the things you say. If you want to say it won’t work that’s fine but don’t say it’s not there.

They hitting the panic button cause the internal polling numbers are probably showing around 70% - 80% of Black Men voting for Kamala Harris when it needs to be in the deep 80%- 88%.
She wants to win Wisconsin (Milwaukee), Michigan(Detroit), Pennsylvania (Pittsburgh & Philadelphia), Georgia (Atlanta) the numbers for Black voters gotta be like 2020. If not she is about to be like Hillary Clinton in 2016 and lose to Trump

There are plenty of specific things she could propose for us. Rebuilding the infrastructure in our communities would be #1. Our schools, housing, roads, mass transportation, business investments all need help. Some generic $25k grant isn't doing shit.
The only time our communities get investment is when they are being gentrified and us pushed out. So here's an idea she can start day 1, put that same energy into correcting the results of White flight after Civil Rights was passed. We've given billions to rebuild Iraq, we sent billions to Ukraine(most racist country on Earth), and also Israel. So there's no reason we can spend money to rebuild communities left behind long ago.
Childcare, hone buying, student loans dont' help us any more than other groups. And will just be lip service like under Biden

You realize those questions don't necessarily have to be rhetorical. I mean, what's stopping anyone from answering those questions?
These questions don't get answered because there's no plan. Do we expect miracles to happen while the work that needs to be done to accomplish what we want remains undefined, in writing. Meanwhile the other side has a 920 page book outlining their plans. Like who are we even kidding?
We have a good enough understanding on what hurdles exist in the community, but where are the solutions? Who is bringing clarity to the situation? We don't see enough intelligent minds with innovative ideas coming out the community outlining attainable goals to resolve and overcome these hurdles once and for all. "Concepts of a plan" ain't going to cut it. I have ideas at least on what the first step could be when it comes to the wealth gap.

The ADOS Foundation already had a plan before Kamala ran. It addresses housing, criminal justice, agriculture, health, immigration and jobs.

Hard to say. As a start, More rehab and mental health recovery for criminals depending on the crime. And doing away with harmful crime policies Like ones that leave families broken behind small drug possession charges for example.

Personal opinion is it's impossible for an justice reform in the states that actually works ( it's more likely in Europe because state healthcare and even that feels impossible). That word will lose every election and when you look in depth what is required it's just impossible.
It needs to start at home - most people in jail have a line of abuse of history of family members being addicted to alcohol or drugs or a line of abuse - government/community helping people from first signs.
Education - kids who are kicked out/leave school are the vast majority of people who end up in prison in the UK and I read it's the same in the states.... - would require those students been put into work programs like apprenticeships where they can earn and study fundamentals
Decriminalisation - I mean we know the war on drugs is impossible to win government provided drugs where there's mental health support and rehabilitation centres but even this depends on the grade of drugs
Then it goes to prison - needs to be a actual rehabilitation centre where the target is people are there temporary with the aime of returning to society so they can study, rehab, prisons that reflect society... - these centers would cost billions
Just based on that how can any politicians sell that when the opposition will say they are soft on crime because we know facts in politics doesn't matter. Also it's admitting that you will spend billions on *criminals* ... Haven't even mentioned the victims of crime gun control
