You gotta get outta this idea that the site needs to cater to younger folks... It just needs more visibility...

The younger folks who came here were impressed with the layout and everything.... It's just that this place has a different identity than what they're used to. And that's actually a good thing that we have our own distinct identity.

We just need more eyes on this place.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but if this place is too old for you. Then you need to make the move. But I'm very confident we'll always retain posters who like the vibe here without compromising the personality of the site.

I don't want this place changing up to a place i don't wanna post on for the sake of younger members
. But i will share and repost so I'm the attempts of putting more eyes on the place


Sharing is a simple as a few thumb swipes.

A complete personality makeover? After 9 years? Yeah trying to cater to a different crowd would make things very confusing around here.

I can name maybe 5 people total that have actually invited people to this site. Did those people stick around? No, but efforts were made.

Everyone else "ate" off their efforts. Same few people make threads, everyone else eats off the efforts. There are a ton of threads I avoid mainly cause I'm not the target member but when I remember to make threads, they are centered around things that interest me and I think from reading other people's posts over the years, I can predict who may or may not participate

It’s selfish, but people probably have a take it or leave it mentality to the site, including me. I appreciate it for what it is, but if it were to go away tomorrow I’d miss it but I’m not losing sleep over it.

But I don’t complain about anything regarding the site either. I’m only speaking up in here because the question was asked.

I really appreciate the people that do keep shit popping though.

Just need more eyes on the product.

We need an influencer type exposure.

The issue is with 10+ years on the Internet, no one here is really at the influencer status.... Or they're not plugging the site.

For example, Lurk with his rapper program...he advertised on here, but did he plug this site in his social media posts?? A simple #abw tag on all his videos would go a long way


Germs gotta podcast, does he shout out abw even once??

The entire reason we did the podcast here was to try to put someone out in the world that would bring people to the site.

If every member here was actively in recruitment mode..
. The shit would naturally grow

Every thread I ever made flopped so I gave up on that shit. Part of it is my fault though since I can't talk about the same thing over and over for very long so I abandon those shit too.
 
I'm not attacking. I'm just pointing out how to easily increase the reach of the site.

It ain't like it's asking to charge niggaz, it's just a simple exchange...niggaz advertise on here, just add a simple courtesy tag. How is that an attack?
