I agree with a mod breaking off a topic in the random thread to make new threads.

For the niggas who got out of school 25 min before everyone else
 
I've noticed that the lifestyle area doesn't get as many views as the rest of the forum.

I also understand that the banner with the funny AI cartoons is usually for breaking news or hot items.....

Maybe try and share the wealth by having a banner for a solid to hot thread in each subsection of the site. that could help promote something from the Music discussion, entertainment, and lifestyle sections equally. IDK.

But yeah folks should make more threads on their own.

New blood/active posters would definitely help sustain this place.

Some of the stuff that was going on when I first got here was dope. The games, robberies, contests, giveaways, ABW court, debates etc. There was more active posters back then so even if someone couldnt participate there were a bunch of others that could and did. If you cant find anybody to participate now it pretty much dies on the vine

Enabling posters to not create threads and to let mods create all content on the site is a shitty thing for an admin to support lmao

Maybe something that would help get folks to create threads is to have a reward for the best created new thread every month and also a reward or perk for the best new thread creator each month.


the new thread creator award/perk would give some folks who aren't as well versed or seasoned a chance to shine

I'm not placing the thread making solely on mods. So let me be clear here

What I am saying is, you know who the actors are at this point so if you as a mod see the convo picking up, move the posts to a thread

No disrespect, but that's the conundrum in asking anti-social people to make a site more social friendly.

How did the coli folk find us? Someone posted the site where people are online.

We need to be shared in spaces that the most possible eyes will see us. Folks need to share this site in every social aspect of the Internet they venture into.

Even at the risk of being seen.

Cuz that's the real problem. Niggaz don't feel comfortable openly talking about the subculture of Internet forums to people they are afraid will judge them.

Just my humble opinion.
 
Kind of funny how Goldie asked what could improve the site and one of the answers is more members yet when thecoli members came over because they thought their site died...

None taken. You're right for the most part I think with the smut going to another site people might be more likely to recommend the site to people they actually know
