It’s not her throne is the people won’t support her claim. When Viserys first named her his heir, the other houses accepted because what the fuck else were they gonna say? He didn’t have any other kids at the time.

But as soon as he had a son……..the people realized that they did not need to accept a traditional ruler such as a woman like Rhaenyra when they can just have Viserys son rule when he is of age.

Lmao their houses are already joined. Both they last names is targaryen. If rhae's son and al's daughter marry, guess what? Alicent unimpeachably gets an heir on the throne with 0 bloodshed. Her bum ass kid also gets a dragon out a deal when he most likely never would have.

they made a point to show mad houses swearing fielty to her. Some oaths actually mean some shit to houses and arent so easily tossed aside

Actions have everything to do with it. For example, Viserys is a weak as bitch. A weak ass King naming his daughter his heir sounds good until he dies. Why would the people support the claim made by a weak King?

Alicent stay being mad at shit she has no reason to be mad about. Who fucked rhae before marriage is her husband's problem. Who fathered her kids is her husband's family's problem.

She had no issue with rhae taking the throne until she decided she wasn't cool with her no more. Stop acting like Alicent is moving off principle when she clearly isn't.

Alicent is the Queen of the 7 Kingdoms. Rhaenyra is the Kings oldest child and his named heir. Who Rhaenyra is fucking is absolutely Alicent’s problem. That’s literally the problem right now right?

No tf it isn't. If corlys thinks it's a problem that he doesn't have any true heirs that will get on the throne, then it's a problem. If laenor took issue with the fact that he wasn't marrying a virgin then it woulda been an issue. Al taking it personally who rhae throwing her pussy at helps no one. If they weren't so reckless, none of this would've happened.
