Nah Baelish was on another lvl, starting wars, murking kings and was beating Varys in the ‘game behind the scenes/puppet master ‘ until the writers decided to let him - and Varys - lose all his wits and got turned into a cliche villain that got outwitted by Sansa the witless ...
The reason I started repping Baelish was the ‘chaos is a ladder’ scene and contrary to all the other players, he wasn’t on some ‘birthright’ shit. He wanted the thrown eventhough blood wise he had no right to be on it and Varys wanted to keep the bloodline illusion real and always have a Dany or Baratheon etc proxy on the thrown for ‘the realm’ ...
he was ironically George his favorite character and will probably be written differently if that mofo ever finishes the books that is...
