My point is, damn near EVERY comedian didn't start shinning until they were at least in their mid to late 20s. By the time chappelle hit his mid 20s he dropped the 2 specials and shortly after did the chappelle show.

Ur trying to discredit chappelle for the work he did as a teen (he was a teenager when he did def comedy jam) and when he was in his early 20s, when damn near no comedian is poppin in their teens and early 20s. I can't tell anybody else what's funny to them.

I can say that I study comedy like I study music and my favorite comics are the ones who can transcend comedy into an art.

And while I love what Corey,Kev,Deray,and a list of great comics who are great in their own right do,it's something about the conversational,political,philosophical,pop culture breaking down,society breaking down,comics that really make me laugh and think.

Chris Rock,dave,Pryor,Carlin,Mooney are just different to me.
