If you really cared about any of the relevant discussion in this thread, you would've named at least one actor that is A) american born and B) a better actor to portray the role of Fred, but you dont have either one

If you are black and famous in the UK you become the voice for every black person. Every interview etc and a lot of it is hey look how bad America is etc and to be grateful where you are ignoring all the issues we have here. There is 0 black roles in the UK because for some reason they only do period pieces, however, occasionally they will do something about race then they will call a black actor and that's how they will be defined. Thats why all British black actors work in the states.
