Two things can be right at the same time:
Drake aināt had a good album in years and is consistently trying to appeal with the masses & show no growth (with success like it or not).
Joe Budden is right about Drake, but is a hatin ass dude whoās only relevance is a Podcast since his music career washed out years ago.

Anybody that say Joe canāt spit is crazy. He aināt have that commercial success, but that nigga could rap his ass off. Joe used to kill in that Triangle Offense with him, Fabolous, and Paul Cain.
If it wasnāt for the label bullshit, drugs, and mental health, that nigga would have had a hall of fame careerā¦ just like if T-Mac aināt get hurt he would have had some rings too.

Trashing Budden for his analogy is like saying guys like Chris Sims and Dan Orloski shouldnāt be analysts cause they didnāt succeed as much as other QBs in the leagueā¦.which, is bullshit. They made to the league, which means they were good enough to compete at that level.
Or like saying Kenny āthe Jetā Smith shouldnāt be up there with Shaq and Chuck on TNT cause theyāre HOFamers and he aināt, which again, is bullshit. He got a ring (2, actually), he was an All-Star, Kenny knows what it takes to see success in that field.
Same with Joe. He was signed to major, and had a single go gold, so heās obviously talented enough to be in this space. Just cause Aubrey is more accomplished in the field then Joe, doesnāt mean two things:
1) Joeās opinion is deemed invalid because Joe spoke unfavorably of him. Not even him, just his work.
2) Aubrey is better than Joe, skillset wise. We saw that story play itself out when they went on wax against each other many moons ago.
