If that's the case why do they still put so many resources and so much effort into keeping us from voting? And by "us" I mean those of us willing to actually take the comparatively minimal effort to cast a damn ballot regardless of all the other high-intensity, revolutionary, money-pooling, super-pac forming, black wall street-building, cracka karate-chopping, huey p newton gun club starting activities we're supposed to be doing.

I know sneak no signed me. But using our ancestors to guilt trip us aint a good tactic. Ancestors aint die so we could vote the same party for 60 years without demanding much more.

My point was not dont vote. Im really against us using ancestors to make points. At the end of the day its black vs white.

In this specific instance, we got killed for exercising our say in the institutions that govern us. Preventing the black vote is literally one of the founding tenets of the KKK.

Whether you feel guilty or not it doesn't change the fact that many black folks take for granted the privileges that were paid in blood by our ancestors.

Okay, a brief rundown
The candidate I voted for wants to protect the Affordable Care Act and supports an individual mandate, which requires most Americans to have health insurance. I have family & friends that need this)
She also supports a public option called Medicare-X.(I have family & friends who can benefit from this )
She opposes Trump's bullshit travel ban ( I have close associates I've met overseas who are impacted by this),
She supports a new version of the assault weapons ban (self-explanatory),
she oppose any attempts to cut or privatize Social Security or Medicare (My mom,dad, Grandmother, aunts, & uncles are affected by this),and
lastly she's for Congress removing marijuana from the Controlled Substances Act so states can enact marijuana laws without federal interference,and she's for holding bad cops accountable (Does this even have to be explained?)
 
Also as a vet, there is this on the ballot:

""To Remove Restriction on Residence for Surviving Spouse of Disabled Veteran Tax Exemption Amendment, is on the ballot, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 6, 2018.

A "yes" vote supports amending the state constitution to remove a restriction on where the surviving spouse of a disabled military veteran may have his or her principal place of residence in order to receive a property tax exemption.

A "no" vote opposes amending the state constitution to remove a restriction on a property tax exemption for the surviving spouse of a disabled military veteran, thereby leaving in place the requirement that the surviving spouse cannot move to a new residence and still qualify for the exemption.""

oh we can't reference our ancestors but everybody else can? at the end of the day every other culture in the world is proud of their ancestors' struggles and achievements but for some reason for us it's off limits.

I had to vote against the school board having internal control over public funds....

They already got caught once by the state for moving money they shouldn't have been moving....

I also voted for the Casinos to be taxed more to give to the school board....

And these niggaz think they gonna get away with being able to "lose" all that money too???

Here in MI, the roads are torn to all fuck (that bad I cant even cuss right).

The dem candidate for gov has been running on "fix the damn roads" but I've yet to see her plan on doing so

The dem attorney general candidate worked for a crinimal law firm that represented a strip club which got busted for a 15 yr old workin there. Shes a gay women whose slogan was "vote for someone without a penis"

The rep ag candidate bragged about bringing charges agaunst officials over flint, yet voted to stop clean wster delivery
