Comparing 1 addicts ability to remain sober vs someone who isn't an addict isn't smart
I've been growing up with X's songs ever I was old enough to be allowed to listen to his music. I really hope this isn't how it ends for him, Lord kniws enough people have died untimely as it is... Any new updates on his condition, and whetever he's getting better or worse? I'll keep praying for his recovery regardless.

Legacy matters.LL is a pioneer and lasted through several eras
I didn't like every chick song he made later in his career but he was consistent from the 80' s to the 2000's
He damn near created the rap relationship/love song.
I respect the pioneers plus he made music beyond his era
I mean X was on 4321 and LL' s is what verse is best remembered.
I still like X and his music style is more what I would listen to on my own over most LL albums but LL was that dude.
I'm bad is still one of the hardest songs to me.

I respect your opinion and definitely LL career. But I'm not riding w LL being a better rapper than X. You show me a LL song that can be put up to a "slipping" or "Ruff Ryders anthem".

No disrespect to LL, but he nowhere near the rapper that X was. Fame, impact, longevity, influence. LL gets it. But pure lyrical ability, flow, subject matter, beats and mic presence. Is not even close.
