DMX Passes Away (RIP Earl "DMX" Simmons, Long Live X)

I'm not saying Nore is responsible for X drinking on the show. X been struggling before and after he met Nore. My point is, if your show's schtick is to get people fucked up, so that they slip up n give u the tea. Is in bad taste to have people with SERIOUS and well documented struggles with substances on there. Especially if they are unstable in their recovery. Royce has over 5+ years in recovery. Big difference between having someone like Royce, who is stable and a DMX who recently was in rehab.

I don't know where he ranks for anyone else. But I know this much. You can't name 20 better rappers than X to me.
cool, but I'm not putting X over somebody like Black Thought.

My list is filled with more lyrical MCs sprinkled with some mainstream rappers

then you got ppl like LL ,cube and Snoop who I rank higher.

I'm not putting DMX over somebody like Ras kass

I can easily think of 20.

Dude touched the spirit of so many people. You can't say that about too many rappers. He was brutality honest with himself and the world. He showed his scares and shared his pain with everyone while simultaneously asking the Most High to heal not only himself but the rest of us to.

His pain made him relatable. He was a superstar rapper but he was never a superstar dude. That's why there's such an out pouring of love for this guy. Everybody from everywhere could relate to DMX one way or the other. I really hopes he knows how much the world loves him.

The fact that u would put LL over X is all I need to know bout your list...to each his own though.

You could tell DMX was always uncomfortable with game. I think is what kept him so down to earth.
