Socially, YES. Academically, yes too.
In college, everyone is held to the same damn standards, regardless of their age. They’re still expected to get up, ON THEIR OWN, go to class, ON THEIR OWN, and take care of themselves, OB THEIR OWN. So they are treated as young adults, just as everyone else is. You are also expected to conduct yourself as a said young adult with some level of decorum as an adult, regardless if you haven’t officially hit that adult date. You plagiarize shit in school, you get caught in certain dorms after hours, you fuck around and develop a whore’s reputation, you think “I’m 17, I’m still a child” is really going to absolve you of anything? FUCK NO.
Even as a freshman, you are not treated with kid gloves. This was true regardless of your age, which if you’re in college, you’re either at least 18, or less than five months away from turning 18.
Question: did you go to college?
Just curious.
Mostly because the dickhead that’s trying to hold that shit over my head took all that shit out of context. After the "so much college ass" fiasco I'm surprised you didn't choose to sit this one out.
Can't drink, can't join the military, can't smoke, can't get into an 18 and up club, can't cross state lines without a parents permission, can't buy a gun, can't stay out past curfew, can't vote, can't open a checking account without a parent, can't work a 40 hour work week.
But yes, no difference between 21 and 17.
Genuinely curious as to how some of you fathers would react to a 21 yo soldier fresh from a 3 year tour in Milan coming to your home and picking up ur 17 year old daughter.
First and foremost, you DO know that the age of consent varies by state, right? So because their mother and father aren't there to wake them up in the morning, they walk a few blocks for different classes, and they stay in a dorm room, it's okay for an adult to fuck a minor?? Like really? So because a 17 yr old girl might get in trouble for cheating on a paper that gives the green light for a 21 year old to have sex with her??
50 billion people on this planet and these niggas wanna prowl the early college trailers.Only if she stays on a college campus. Gotta get it straight.
Okay.
An 18 year can literally do all that and that 17 year can’t
so it’s no difference?
It’s the same ducking age group. Why is that hard for y’all to understand
Once again, the immaturity it showing itself here.50 billion people on this planet and these niggas wanna prowl the early college trailers.
They are literally acting like as soon as a someone turns 18, they get all the mental faculties of an adult.
Like I said, if you are pearl clutching over a 17 year old having sex with a 21 year old, you might as well advocate for the age of consent to 21, because 17 to 18 ain't a big difference in sexual maturity.
First and foremost, you DO know that the age of consent varies by state, right?

So, yeah. That plays a HUGE role into this depending on what school you’re going to?
Like there are girls that literally turn 18 and make an Onlyfans and busting it open for dollars and shit.
Turn 18 and then become pornstars.
But that's okay because it's "legal" and they are an "adult".
But a 17 year old is a child.
The fuck lmao.
What morals? That’s man’s law, and it ain’t even in equal footing.Again why are you trying to find justification for an adult fucking a minor??
So because it happens to be lawful in certain states that makes it okay? We're gonna act like every law on the books is morally correct?
The premise was there's no tangible difference between 17 and 21.Bruh brought up laws to show the difference like that matters when it comes folks being in the same age group.
lmao.
can’t make this shit up.
